Deleting your CipherNest data

Last updated 29 September 2026

CipherNest, published by CipherNest Studio, holds almost no data about you. CipherNest Studio is one person, Usman Shafi, so this page says “I”. Here is what exists and how to remove it.

Your files

Your photos, videos, documents and music are stored encrypted in your own Google Drive or OneDrive. CipherNest has no copy. To delete them, delete them in the app and empty the Recycle Bin, or delete the CipherNest folder directly in your Drive or OneDrive.

Data on your phone

Uninstalling CipherNest removes everything it stored on your device.

Purchase records

If you bought CipherNest Plus, a record of the purchase is kept by RevenueCat, which processes payments on my behalf, under an anonymous ID that isn’t linked to your name or email. To have it deleted, email support@ciphernest.io with the subject “Delete my data” and your Google Play order number, which starts with GPA and is in your purchase receipt email. I’ll confirm deletion within 30 days.

What is kept

Google Play keeps its own records of purchases made through the Play Store, under Google’s policies. I can’t delete those. If you have an active subscription, cancel it in Google Play first; deleting your data doesn’t cancel it.
